We have a link in our salesforce.com for our sales reps to download Mozilla Firefox, but the site is either down or outdated. Can you please confirm? Here is the link we're using: ftp://10.48.1.20/Firefox/ffSetup3.6.12.exe

Grrr I signed up as the comments on this post just annoyed me, were generic and no help at all.

the IP address you've provided looks to be an internal address of your orginzation.

So you are probably getting an old version from your internal FTP server. contact your IT staff and request they update the version on the FTP server.

Do not downgrade to or install an unsupported version of Firefox. Only Firefox 3.6.22 and Firefox 6.0.2 are fully updated for security and stability issues; all other versions have security and stability issues that have not and will not be corrected. (As of Sep 7. 2011).

Firefox 6.0.2: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html

Firefox 3.6.22: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

The range of IP addresses 10.0.0.0 – 10.255.255.255 is for internal (private) IP addresses on a LAN (IPv4). You can not access that block of numbers over the internet.
