The most recent firefox upgrade is not compatible with trend micro security and disabled it when I clicked on install. How do I get my trend micro back?
I downloaded a security upgrade for firefox. When I clicked on install(or apply) I was told it disabled my trend micro security and there are no compatible versions with trend micro. It told me they would keep checking and let me know when one was available. NO GOOD. I paid a lot of money for my trend micro and want it functional. HELP! I did not click on finish. Does that mean the upgrade is not installed and that trend micro is still working?

I appear to have fixed this by going to the Trend Micro site and upgrading to the most recent version of Trend Micro Titanium 2012 V5.0. This uninstalled the earlier version on my computer and then installed the most recent version. Trend Micro is now working and I can browse with Firefox. The upgrade was free.

I have the same problem, I think. After updating Firefox, there is no longer a Trend Micro icon in the system tray, and if I try to start Trend Micro I get a splash screen that subsequently disappears without doing anything.
However it appears that Trend Micro is still running. The Control Panel->Security Center indicates that virus protection by Trend Micro is ON.
Very annoying!!
XP SP3, Trend Micro Titanium Maximum Security, Firefox 8
