I have tried uninstalling both the old and new versions of Firefox and reinstalling but get the same problem - multiple windows open up with my home page. This slows it down considerably. I can close them but if I then go back to homepage after browsing elsewhere, it happens again. I was having problems with crashing whenever I went to Firefox, but I think that was solved by starting the computer from an earlier date.
