How do I eliminate the History window that is permanently open and located to the left of any window that I open? This only occurred recently and I can't close it. Thank you.

You can do one of the following:

  • click the small "x" to the right of the word "History" at the top of the History Sidebar
  • CTRL+H opens or closes the History Sidebar

I have the same problem but I can close it but when I open a new Mozilla Firefox window the History sidebar is back, So I want to stop it from happening when I open a new window
