The new tab page feature of FF 13 works fine but only if I create a new tab with + . I would like to have the page also at startup but there I have only the option 'blank page' which is actually blank. Question: How to have the link boxes also at startup?

hello, you can just set about:newtabs as your homepage manually (this is the address of the new tabs page)

Thanks for the reply (it should be 'about:newtab' without the 's').

Unfortunately it works only for browser.startup.homepage but I was looking for a solution for browser.startup.page where the type is an integer not a string. The option 'newtab' is missing in the drop down list of "When Firefox starts:"
