I was playing a game in Facebook and was trying to get back to my email in Yahoo and encountered a message in a tab called a "Multi-Hop Cycle Detected".
Your request is prohibited because it would cause a cycle.

If you see a highlighted star in the location bar then you can click that star to remove the bookmark.
Otherwise you will have to locate the bookmark in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) and remove it there.

This can be caused by corrupted cookies.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
I followed your directions and removed all cache and cookies. Message is still there! Any other ideas??? Thanks
Still have not been able to fix the problem. Anyone out there have any other ideas?
Are you using a bookmark to go to a specific website or are you entering the page via the main home entry?
Try to login via the Yahoo! home page and navigate manually to the desired Yahoo! website.
yes if I go through Yahoo Mail I have access but still cannot open my mail using the bookmark. Any ideas on how I can correct that?? Thanks for your help.
Try to delete the current bookmark and see if a new bookmark works better.
If you keep having problems then you will have to use the longer route to arrive at your mail.
How do I delete a bookmark?
