When I click on "New Window" a new window is brought up, but then my screen goes immediately back to the old window. I want it to stay at the new window, until I choose to click on the old window. Is there a setting I can change to make this happen?

hello, it sounds like an extension might be interfering here. please try launching firefox in safe mode once and see if the issue is occurring there too.
