How do I get the bookmarks side panel to display every time firefox is opened?

more options

I like to display my bookmarks along the left side panel. I go to View, then click on Sidebar, then on Bookmarks. This creates the display I want. Fine. However, when I close down Firefox and re-open it later, the bookmarks are no longer displayed on the sidebar and i have to repeat the process. I would like to have the bookmarks on the sidebar every time I open Firefox. How is this done?

Hi,

You can try deleting localstore.rdf in the Firefox Profile Folder after exiting Firefox, and set the sidebar again. Hopefully the setting will be maintained.

To open the profile folder via Firefox: Help (Alt + H) > Troubleshooting Information > Show Folder.
