Pinned tabs lost when all non-private windows are closed after opening a private window

Ever since the update to Firefox 20 I've lost count of the times a pinned tab is lost after using private browsing. If I open a private browsing window, then close all non-private windows, the next time I open a non-private window I lost the pinned tab, even after closing all Firefox windows and restarting the browser again. Can this be fixed?

Pinned tabs are connected to a specific window (each window can has its own set of pinned tabs), so if you close a window then you lose the tabs that you have pinned in it and only restoring this closed window could bring them back.

If you really want to close open non-private windows then you will have to restore pinned tabs manually, e.g. by storing them in a bookmarks folder and opening them all in tabs via a middle-click on this folder and change them once again to pinned tabs.
