Firefox messed up fom data!
After updating to Firefox 23, a couple of days later I noticed, that Firefox starts to messed up my saved form data. I need this feature for my daily work, so that I do not have to enter the same texts in the same fields every day (that is for what this feature is for). However, Firefox 23 messed up everything - First I noticed doubled entries for the same word, so by clicking the field it shows me "soup" twice. After I deleted one of those duplicated entries, another entry was gone. For example "dried soup". When I then entered "dried soup" again to be saved, Firefox 23 did not save it - so I deleted many of my saved form data and cannot save it again!! After switching back to FF 22 the problem is solved for now, but I cannot update until this major issue is fixed!

In another thread, a user who investigated this said it is a bug that has been fixed in Firefox 24. See: Firefox is saving limited form date (2 entries) and none on some lines, all settings are set to save form data.
Firefox 24 is in its final 2 weeks of beta testing, in case you want to try it (download page). Or you could wait for its official release on or about Sept. 17, 2013.
Edit: This fix might not be available yet, since the patch was added on Sept. 4th but the latest beta release was Sept. 3rd.
Modified
Try the following to clear all previous form information and start over:
- Open the Firefox options
- Click the Privacy tab
- Select Clear Recent History
- Select Everything from the Time Range drop-down
- Uncheck all items, but leave Form and Search History checked
- Press Clear Now
This will remove all previous form information and can't be undone.
If the problems continues or this didn't help, please post below.
Sorry, but I have been entered hundred of phrases and there is no way I will delete all that data. I need it for my daily work.
Thank you. I will try FF24 when it is released. For the meantime I will keep using FF22.
