When doing research, how do I save bookmarks to all tabs at one to a list?

I often do research on the 'Net...as a result I have maybe 15-20, or more tabs open, each containing important information. I want to use a menu item to "Save Bookmarks to all Open Tabs" to a List or New Bookmark Folder -- at the end of my research session.

This would allow me to return to my research, click "Open All In Tabs", and restore my previous session, even if much time has passed between sessions, and other research had been done meanwhile.

Is this functionality available somewhere under the skirts? Or do I need to address the Add-ons crowd?
