Sometimes when I switch between Firefox another app, when I come back to Firefox all my tabs refresh even though I did not close Firefox. How to prevent?

hello jlamoure, i think this might be due to the memory management of your operating system. resources might be moved away from the applications running in the background when they are needed elsewhere, so that may be why firefox is reloading the tabs once you come back...

Along those same lines, I recently got a new KitKat device and unlike my 3-year-old Gingerbread device, I see hardly any unnecessary page reloads. (On the contrary, stuff seems to stay open way longer than I expect.)
