I am needing to save the website address https://my.waldenu.edu/portal/User/LcpLogin.aspx to my desk top short cuts. I can do this with internet explorer, but I don't like it and cannot find an option to do this with my Firefox. Can someone please help?

Chosen solution

  1. Resize the Firefox window so that part of the desktop is showing.
  2. Click and drag the icon on the left side of the address bar (usually a globe or a padlock) onto the desktop.

Hi,

Have a look here. http://blog.mozilla.org/theden/2012/10/25/create-a-desktop-shortcut/

If you want to do it from the context menu then an extension like "Save File to" should do it (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/save-file-to/?src=userprofile).
