After update to Firefox 29 the full screen option only let the top line and the dock at the bottom disappear. The tabs, the adress line and the bookmarks line remain visible. This relates to my MacBook with OS X Lion (10.7.5)

Chosen solution

Unfortunately this is an issue with newer versions of Mac OS X, where full screen doesn't mean 'kiosk' mode anymore. Luckily you can restore that behavior via an add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/old-lion-fullscreen/?src=userprofile
