Can't send or receive emails
My Thunderbird mailbox hasn't received any mail since 26/05/2014 and i can't send emails either. I have tried the get mail button but nothing happens. When i try to send an email i get an error message stating that: Sending of message failed. The message could not be sent because connecting to SMTP server smtp.ntlworld.com failed. The Server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your SMTP server setting are correct and try again, or contact the server administrator.
I have not changed any server setting and and am not sure what they should be to verify them.

I use ntlworld and I have the same problem. However, it's not Thunderbird: there is currently an issue with all mail on Virgin Media (i.e. ntlworld). The estimated time for resolution is 22:30 UK time.

If I cannot fix the problem I shall have no other option than change to another email supply!
