unable to get java to properly install on my laptop
anyone have suggestion on how I can get the java download to install on my laptop? I am able to download the file jre-7u67-windows-i586.exe but when I click on it to execute the file nothing happens. My laptop is running Windows 7 32 bit operating system. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am sorry to hear about your issue. As far as I am concerned, this is not directly a Firefox related issue. Java is a platform that is used by any browser on your PC, but you are absoultely right to keep it up to date. Please consider the following; the problem may be caused by not running the file with administration rights or other instances of java are still active and you can end them in the task manager. Regards
