I downloaded DDG from EFF. I've been sending DDG bug reports and doing a masterful amount of searching, without ever getting answers. It never occurred to me to download DDG here. Since the people who give support here are wonderful, I am sure that I can now get answers and better performance. 1. Lately, no matter what settings I set (and I constantly view them), DDG is doing things it never did before. I now have autocomplete and that isn't even a choice on my Advanced Settings. 2. Recently, I have a big greyed-out box underneath Search (images), but since images aren't supposed to load - per my settings, only the grey rectangle remains. I can't get it off the page. 3. Since I switched to DDG (about a year or so) when I go back (left arrow), much of the time I get a FF error (can't remember exactly) to the effect that FF doesn't have the page - doesn't save the settings, so I either have to hit Resend, keep hitting L arrow, or both to return to the previous page. 4. Since I only downloaded from EFF, I had no idea that there were so many choices of add-ons. When I open Advanced Settings, I don't see a version # and I've never seen updates suggested. I have HTTPS Everywhere, because I use other search engines. What are the differences in the various add-ons? Thank you.
