Only a few contacts in my gmail accounts show up in my contacts accounts. How do i get them all?
I have 5 email accounts hosted by Google and set up on my Thunderbird. I have installed a number of plugins such as gContactSync, Addressbook Tab. Contact Photos, Google Contacts and ThunderSync...
Yet I only have a few of over 4,000 contacts showing up. To use eMail i have to manually go in to a browser and find contacts, select their email address and past it in to the eMail or find an old message and cut n paste from that.
How do I get them all listed and ideally within their groups.

I would start by installing only the add-ons I actually want to use. I would guess that at this time you have multiple add-ons trying top do basically the same thing all at once and all failing.
Yes, but as non seem to work, which to I uninstall to leave me with what does work? And why do I have to manually add attendees to invoiitations in callendar? Why doesn't it link to my addressbook(s)?
The one that worked for me was Google Contacts. (Tbird 31.5.0, win7)
I can't find that Google Contacts. The one I find is 0.7.12 by H.Ogi
Can you download and send?
Thats the one. Read the detailed page about overriding googles limit of 30 addresses. http://hogi.sakura.ne.jp/en/gmcont/gmcont_detail.rhtml
You could export as csv and import

No pop up ever showed, so i am limited to just 30 accounts, and there is no obvious access to change the setting! Any ideas, please.
Sorry, but I don't keep that many addresses on googles contacts. (NOTB so to speak.) So I cant help you there. If you dont have to have them on the web I would export them and import into Thunderbird. (and keeping Contacts.csv as a safety)
MoreFunctionsForAddressbook Is a good add-on https://freeshell.de/~kaosmos/morecols-en.html
Thanks for the ap...
I am beginning to think it is working. I just think it is really slow. The numbers of contacts is going up each day.
If I had extracted the contacts and then loaded them in to TB, would it have sync'd with Google and kept both up to date?
