TRYING TO INSTALL FIREFOX ON 2ND COMPUTER - CAN'T LOG IN WITH MY FIREFOX EMAIL AND PASSWORD
This is very frustrating - Firefox got screwed up on my Mac computer so I deleted it and reinstalled. It asks me to sign in so I tried to use the email and password I have on Firefox my other computer. It said I had the wrong password so I changed it and then went to my Mac computer to sign in and it says WRONG PASSWORD. 3 times. so what the heck is going on. If i try to sign up for a new account it says this email already has an account. HOW THE HECK AM I SUPPOSED TO LOG ON IF IT TELLS ME THE PASSWORD IS WRONG AND WON'T LET ME CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT 4 DAYS I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET FIREFOX BACK ON MY MAC AND ALL I GET IS A HUGE HASSLE.
WHY WON'T IT ACCEPT MY EMAIL AND PASSWORD. I JUST GOT A NOTICE EMAIL THAT MY PASSWORD HAS BEEN RESET BUT IT DOESN'T WORK ON MY OTHER COMPUTER
HOW DO I CHANGE PREFERENCES WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT THIS IS SO SCREWED UP

HI kcsummer111, First, four days is a long time and this sounds like it was very frustrating. I am happy to help.
Second, each time you change the password, the other devices connected will log out. You will need to manually enter the newly changed password on the second computer. (if this does not work, remove the account first from about:preferences#sync)
Third, to find the old data from the previous profile on the computer that you reinstalled Firefox, start Firefox with the profile manager to find it:
Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles
