Since the update to Thunderbird 38.5, I no longer receive emails.
After the automatic update to Thunderbird 38.5, I can send emails but not receive them. I have Windows 7 and a Comcast email address. I've disabled my Norton Security and still no luck. Thunderbird worked perfectly prior to the update. Any fixes out there? TIA.

Norton lies about being disabled. Try windows safe mode and see if it suddenly works.

I rebooted Windows in safe mode and TB worked. then I rebooted in normal mode and TB worked! I'm not sure why. I had rebooted several times since it stopped working. I'm happy it's running. Thanks for your help.
