I have a client that drags emails from the inbox into a local folder. Recently, all of a sudden all but 7 emails disappeared from the local folder. The local folder has a filesize of 1.4GB, but only displays 7 emails.

I have tried the following: 1) Restart computer 2) Repair the msf file (could not do because file was in use?) 3) Copy the original folder/file to another location to have as a backup Renamed the file/folder as well as the .msf to an OLD file When I reopened the thunderbird, the file was recreated, but with only the 7 emails, and the new filesize is >1MB. 4) Import the original file/folder using the import/export add=in.

Is there any way for me to actually browse all 1.4GB that is stored in the original file/folder? Thank you,

You have to run it on the 1.4GB folder, it will create a new folder.
