My emails are going out as HTML and not as text.
People receive emails from me in HTML format (codes) and not in plain text. I have the settings on plain text.

I recall long and somewhat heated discussions on a similar topic where the user was convinced he had set it up appropriately, not recognising that there are two different places where html can be switched on or off.
