I previously asked about how to get Skype Voice calls working with Firefox (when will firefox be upgraded to support Skype voice calls?) I received a suggestion to install the Skype add on - I did this - However when I tried to use the Skype add on for voice calls I found they were blocked ("Skype Calls are Temporarily unavailable with Firefox")

Additional problems that have been encountered after installing the Skype Add On - my bookmarks are no longer available as a side panel but appear as a separate window entirely, the result of this is my usual book marks instead of taking 2 clicks need 5 clicks and multiple long mouse moves to access. Given that they are a separate window entirely they now disappear as soon as another web page is opened. Also the add on crashed completely - went blank - and had to be removed and re-installed.

My questions therefore are: Is there anyway currently of getting Skype voice calls to work with Firefox? When will Firefox be upgraded to allow normal Skype voice calls to work with either the add on or a normal Skype "tab"? Can I have the Skype add on and my book marks menu both as side bars?

Hi, please see here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/ and copy/paste Skype to the search bar in the URL, take your pic. I think you should ask Microsoft when it will be compatible, they keep breaking it. Also see the support URL's on each you find and the Contact as Mozilla does not make the Extensions nor do support for them. We will try to help you though. Mozilla only ok's the extensions for use and supplies a web page to distribute it from.

To fix your bookmark issue : Please Refresh but do this 1st: Delete your Cookies and Cache and TEST.

then

TEST....... If no issues then Extensions which need to be added back in 1 at a time and tested ..... Or it is your Profile : Make a new one and test ...:

If is your Profile :

Note: Any customization will revert back to default, you will also need to reinstall Extensions.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
