Hello,

on a Windows disk I have a TB profile in which I store my emails in a lot of local folders. I'm using IMAP, and whenever I move an email from the mail server to a local folder, it vanishes on the email server as expected.

Sharing the Windows disk profile between Windows and a Linux system (which is installed on another disk) has led to problems, and I was suggested not to do so.

What is the recommended way to use Thunderbird on a dual boot system, so that I have full read/write/copy/move/delete access to my local folder emails on both systems?

Many thanks for your time Jeff

You can't/shouldn't.

If you want messages to be shared on both systems, move those to an imap account.
