Firefox 98 download issue
Hi,
I read a lot about the updates and etc etc..what I need is:
1. When I click on a link with PDF file it's open dialog box "Open with" - this is ok. I click open with Adobe Reader and it opened - this is also ok!
But I don't want that PDF file to be saved in my download folder!!! Or at least to be save in the Temp folder as before.
2. If 1. is not possible which version of Firefox I can use before that changes ? 97,96,95? In the older versions there was no such kind of problem

Hi, this is a change in Firefox 98. Currently, there is no option to use the Temp folder. Perhaps that will return in the future, but I'm not following developments along those lines.
We can mention how to temporarily turn off the new workflow, but this may not work in future versions. Still, it would be more secure than running older versions of Firefox that are not longer supported by security updates.
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.

(2) In the search box in the page, type or paste browser.download.improvements_to_download_panel and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click the preference to switch the value from true to false

browser.download.improvements_to_download_panel - false is not solving the problem. It's just not showing the pop up window of downloading. The pdf files continue to download in the downloading folrder.
I will downgrade to older version until the problem it will be solved from developers.
I read a lot of pdf files every day in the web so It's very unpleasant do delete hundreds of pdf every day
By the way I don't know how but somehow I manage it to fix it. Now is acting as before :) My version is 98.01
