Thunderbird was OK for years. For two months now it sends all my incoming mail to the Bin, both from Gmail and Hotmail. I never changed the setting. Nobody seems to have this problem, for I can't find a solution in Internet.

Hola, Para diagnosticar problemas en Thunderbird, prueba lo siguiente:

  • Reinicia Thunderbird con los complementos desactivados (Thunderbird en Modo Seguro). En el menú de Ayuda, haz clic en "Reiniciar con los complementos desactivados...". Si Thunderbird funciona bien, hay algún complemento o tema que interfiere en el funcionamiento normal de Thunderbird. Tendrás que volver a activar todos los complementos hasta que localices dónde está el problema.

Sorry, it didn't help. It only stopped Thunderbird from opening 15 windows every time I open it (this started after I asked for help). But my email keeps going to the bin, together with copies of drafts. Thanks for your help, but I'll have to let it go. It was the best, I'll miss it so.

Hola, Este es el foro de ayuda en español. Si las cuentas son IMAPs puedes hacer una copia del perfil del Thunderbird como respaldo, luego realizar una instalación limpia del Thunderbird: 1) desinstalarlo 2) Borrar la carpeta de perfil (No es respaldo) 3) Instalarlo nuevamente y configurar las cuentas Saludos
