certain videos won't download,such as video/x-ms-wmv
I have Windows Media player 11,quick time and adobe flash player on my computer,but as of several months ago,certain videos won't load.The loading bar shows it's a video/x-ms-wmv.For most applications I use the Windows media player for almost everything.I checked all items under "Options" "file types" for mpeg,wmv,etc.

Hi Mike, You seem to be missing the Windows Media Player plugin. You can also look up this article for video related troubleshooting: Fix common audio and video issues.

This is the WMP plugin: np-mswmp , so you have it. You may be missing a codec to play that content or some extension or security software is blocking that content.

No luck .After reading troubleshooting ,it seems that I might be missing something from the Windows update .I have been using Firefox for almost 2 years,do I need to switch my browser back to IE to get updates that may not be loading thru Firefox?
