I updated to Firefox 3.6.6 and before, the settings were that when I opened a link in a new tab, it would go to the end of the tab list, but now it opens the tab right after the current tab and I can't find how to change it back. I've checked the settings and I skimmed through the about:config, but still can't figure it out. It's starting to be kind of annoying.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== I upgraded to the newest version

Look at Tab Mix Plus Options. Tools > Add-ons > Extensions, locate and click on Tab Mix Plus, click Options, in the Tab Mix Plus interface, click Events, click the Tab Opening tab, look at what you have check marked on that panel. Un-check any that you need to, restart Firefox and test.

If that does not solve the problem, reset a preference: You can change a preference to make tabs open (1) at the end of all open tabs, or (2) immediately after the current tab.

-Type about:config in the URL bar and press the Enter key. -If you see the warning, accept it (promise to be careful). -Filter = browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent -Look at the "Value" column (false=open at end, true=open after current tab) -Double-click that preference to change the value, if you need to -Restart Firefox (File > Restart Firefox) NOTE: The settings in Tab Mix Plus will over-ride the preference setting.
