My website doesn't open/start youtube video, after link clicked. In Firefox only.
On my Joomla project (running under xampp local host) has a link to a youtube video, which worked fine, but not anymore. After clicking it, the resized pop-up window (java script) doesn't open the video. Window remains black and status beam at the window botttom shows 'ready'.
This problem wasn't there in former Firefox releases (3.6.. now) and doesn't occur in ms-IE, Safari and other browsers.
Please let some one fix this. Regards Jac

Can you post a link to your website?
Do you see any errors in the Tools > Error Console about that problem?
- "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
- "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems and Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems
Thanks for your help. I can't post a link to my website, because it is running on my laptop only under xampp localhost, as said.
I have done as per your advice. Currently Firefox is back to default installation, and I learned to use the error console. It displays many errors in regard to xampp local host, but the one obstructing my YT video playing says (see copy of error statement):
Error: Permission denied for <http://www.youtube.com> to get property Window.yt from <http://localhost>. Source File: http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=XazLnNTUjtQ Line: 127
So I changed permission to allow pop ups for YT with no result. The player popsup allright but status bar at the bottem of window states 'done', no video becomes available.
I don't now what to do. Why are all other internet browser running smoothly?
Maybe you know how to solve the problem as in the error message.
Thanks again, Jac
