How can I remove the pop-out that asks me whether to remember a password or not?
I don't want to save passwords for sites I regularly visit. Each time I log in, Firefox "Do you want to remember..." thing comes out.
I keep on clicking "Never for this site" and Firefox keeps on asking this each time I log in? Why? I thought when I clicked "Never for this site" it means "Never for this site".
How do I make Firefox remember that I do not want this password saved?

Thank you.
You're welcome
I also have this problem but the solution is useless when you want to save passwords for some sites but not for others. This function always worked in older versions of Firefox and hasn't worked since I upgraded to 3.6. It is VERY FRUSTRATING - I can even manually add sites that are exceptions (as in never remember for these sites) but Firefox does not keep that information. It would be extremely helpful if this bug could be fixed. Many users at my work have switched browsers because this functionality no longer works in Firefox, or have gone back to an older version. This should be a heads up to the programming team to please get this fix. Thank you.
Do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and password exceptions.
That did not happen before. This new version still preserves the saved passwords for sites, so why can it not also save the exceptions as it did before?
