What is the green line in the address bar and how do I get rid of it?
Not any more happy with Firefox 5 than I was with Firefox 4, but I have at least 1 new problem. There is an irritating, ugly green line that appears in the address bar. What is it and how do I get rid of it?

Sounds that you have installed the Status-4-Evar extension (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions).
You can change the behavior of the progress bar in the Options of that extension.
Status-4-Evar -> Options -> Progress > [] Show progress in the location Bar
