I delete my Firefox Sync account. I cannot use my regular email address. How can I get it to accept my regular email address?

Did you really delete that Sync account?
Does it work if you ask for a new password?

If I try to create a new account it still says "Invalid Email Address".
Type the entire email address and then wait a second or two for that invalid message to go away.
