I want a different hompage versus the mozzilla firefox startup page, how can i change it?
I have tried right clicking the little house button to change my settings, but that doesn't work. I do not know where else to look to change my homepage setting.

There among other options you will also see the option for setting/modifying the desired home page

Most welcome. When you feel like explore the other options that are under 'edit -> preferences'. It will tell you a lot wrt other commonly required settings in Firefox
But be care when you make changes (especially in Security & Advanced tabs), as it will have an impact on the overall functionality of the browser
