I have not had any problems when wanting to print from a web page which had a PDF. Nut just recently the Adobe Acrobat function buttons which appear in the bar above the document in the FireFox browser now show a crossed circle (blocked) when I touch any function (print, save, view). I do not know how to fix this.

In the plugin list in your "More system details" it appears that you might have two PDF plugins. Can you check here and disable the older one if you find it:

orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Add-ons > Plugins category

Thanks JScher.... but when I checked using FireFox to update my Plug-Ins, there is only one noted Adobe Acrobat 10.1 and it is up to date according to FF. Any other ideas?

I'm not sure the Plugins Check page will show duplicates. Could you also check this page: about:plugins (you can type or paste that in the address bar and press Enter).

Ideally, if you use Ctrl+f to search in the page, you should only find one starting with nppdf.

You can set the plugin.expose_full_path pref to true on the about:config page to see the full path of plugins on the about:plugins page.

It is best not to leave that pref set to true as it exposes that full path to web servers, so reset that pref to false after you are done with the about:plugins page.

See "Manually uninstalling a plugin":
