Why does the fonts keep getting smaller as I go from one line to next since firefox updated each line the words are smaller???

What email service are you using?

Make sure that you do not press the Ctrl key while scrolling with the mouse wheel.
You can set mousewheel.with*.action pref(s) like mousewheel.withcontrolkey.action to 0 to perform a scroll.
