My Firefox is crashing after update to 15.0.1
I have been using Firefox since 5-6 years now and have never faced this problem of continuous crash of Firefox. This has started happening since last two days after firefox auto updated to 15.0.1 version.
I have tested it in safe mode then also its crashing.
Every time the crash happened I had chose to send the report to Firefox and hope you would have got the same. I hv processed the crash report and got the id dea6420b-9fac-49bc-8aa8-933172120929.
Please help with the resolution here.

If it's still not working in safe-mode, it's probably your plug-ins or preference settings which are causing the problem.
First, make sure all your plug-ins are up to date.
If they are up to date, here are other troubleshooting guides assuming that running in Safe Mode doesn't help fix the issue. These are the next steps if Safe Mode doesn't help.

The last option (Link #3) is to reset Firefox. According to Firefox, "Your essential information such as your bookmarks, browsing history, passwords, cookies and web form auto-fill information will be saved. But extensions and themes will be removed. Preference settings will also be reset."

I have tried all the possibilities since last two days like clean install, firefox reset, malware check with multiple applications etc. But Firefox is crashing again and again.
I am really fedup of this browser now. Is there no solution for my problem ???
Look at the number of times it has crashed in the last two days. I am simply not able to use Firefox

HI Cor-el.
I had done that as well. Actually I went through all the post under trouble shooting and did everything that is being suggested but still Firefox keep crashing.
Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that works.
I was having the same problem.... But I keep forgetting that when you upgrade firefox... or it updates automatically... you need to right click on the firefox start up icon, go into properties, click on the compatibilities tab, and put a check in the "Run This Program As An Administrator" box, then hit apply. Start Firefox, and it should work OK. Problem is...each time you upgrade firefox and/or I think Adobe flash... you need to make sure that box is checked. This is on Firefox 15.0.1 with Adobe Flash 11.4.402.278 all up to date, Windows 7 64bit. It is a compatibility between Adobe Flash add-on and firefox. Firefox needs to be run in admin mode with the Adobe Flash add-on.
