sometimes firefox does not save all of my history
Sometimes when I open a browser and start surfing the internet, the first few websites I check (gmail, facebook) won't have the history saved. So my gmail will say that it was accessed at 11:15 am but no history will show up saying the site was visited.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox Profile Folder.
