Firefox 22.0+ unresponsive with Adobe Flash?
In Firefox 22.0 RC, ALL versions of flash player open with Plugin-Container. However, it makes firefox hang even on the best machine I can get my grubby little hands on. Flash Player objects do not show up whatsoever, and when attempting to interact with them, firefox hangs for up to 30 minutes before being able to interact with it. I have also had the same experience with Firefox Beta, Aurora, and Nightly. I also attempted using the 64-bit versions.

hello, maybe it's an issue with the protected mode in the flash plugin - you could try if disabling protected mode makes a difference.
