Why would flash crush appear?
Often on website all of sudden everything got freeze and a window shows a message about Flash crush. I checked the Firefox 22.0 Crash Report which is very technical it is talking about
plugin Shockwave Flash Version:11.8.800.94 Filename:NPSWF32_11_8_800_94.dll
there is a lot more but I do not understand. I checked Firefox to solve this problem but there is an article about upgrading and downgrading Adobe flash not Shockwave Flash.
Any advice will be helpful. Note: I always keep drivers, browser, Adobe flash, Java update.

Hi, After posting question I once again tried to update plugins from http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/ and when I downloaded required items and wanted to install I got messages that I already got latest version. Take a look at screen shots. Is it because my system is in Japanese and Firefox is in English that is why it can not recognize the difference?
I thought I should share with you. Thank you
Your screenshots show the Adobe Reader program (plugin).
That is a different plugin than the Adobe Flash plugin that you talk about in your initial post. https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Managing+the+Flash+plugin
You can check for problems with current Flash plugin versions and try these:
- disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
- disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)
- disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
Hi, Thank you for reply. You are right, I had flash problem talked about that and if you read my second post I am also talking about Firefox plugin update items however all Adobe Reader, Adobe flash and Java were already updated but Firefox showed updates.
Firefox crush report is talking about Shockwave not Adobe flash. (I have talked about in first post)
I do not use Realplayer browser record plugin extension it is already disabled.
Thank you for your help always I really appreciate that.
Do you get this Flash problem most of the time or only rarely?
This is some standard guidance that addresses the most common issues with Flash in Firefox. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:
(1) Make sure all recorders/downloaders that interact with Flash media are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them.
(2) Disable hardware graphics acceleration in Firefox and in Flash
(A) In Firefox, un-check the box here and restart:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > General > "Use hardware acceleration when available"
(B) In Flash, see this support article from Adobe: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues
(3) Disable protected mode (Windows Vista/7/8)
See this support article from Adobe under the heading "Last Resort": Adobe Forums: How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?
Hi Ari94, regarding Adobe Reader, the Plugin Check site doesn't recognize 10.1.7 as the latest release, but for some reason Adobe hasn't allowed Vista users to install Adobe Reader 11. So 10.1.7 is the latest for you and you can't rely on the plugin check site for keeping Adobe Reader up-to-date.
Hi, Thank you for reply. Since I posted question and Firefox Plugins update I clicked. I have noticed so far not facing flash problem. It could be some kind of glitch. Thank you
Hello once again, Now I understand what is going on. My system is set to update from Windows to drivers and other software. As per my system following are updated Adobe Reader X (10.1.7) Japanese Adobe Flash Player 11 ActiveX and 11 Plugin Adobe Shockwave Player 12.0
I was not aware of "Adobe hasn't allowed Vista users to install Adobe Reader 11. "
Thank you for help.
