Keeps crashing after update
Firefox 25.01 keeps crashing. I have tried resetting Firefox, doesn't help. I can work on if for maybe a couple of hours then it freezes. Once it freezes I cannot bring up task manager, but must power down the computer with the on/off button. If I leave the computer (stop working for any period of time) it crashes. Happens in regular and safe mode. Attached are my most recent crash reports.

Please check your computer for any malware or other infections.
Hitman Pro is an excellent free software that I highly recommend.
Please update Firefox to the most recent version.
Some issues have been patched.
It is possible that this will solve your issue.
I ran Malwarebytes 2 days ago. Same issue. I thought version 25.01 was the most recent, is that not correct?
Firefox 26.0 has been released today, so that is the current release.

Hi kfmissyb, Firefox 26.0 just released today. You could try either:
- Help > About Firefox > Check for Updates
- https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ (scroll down to your language)
Unfortunately, the crash IDs are hard to look up if they haven't been converted to the numbers starting with bp-. Could you click them on the about:crashes screen and then paste the address to the crash-stats page that opens?
Could you try disabling ALL nonessential or unrecognized plugins on the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a
- orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins. Then, if in doubt, set to Never Activate or Ask to Activate.
