rerstore lost download library list
my entire 3 years worth of downloads list is erased gone by clear downloads button on crappy redesigned downloads by Mozilla since version 20.0
how can i get my list back i need it badly & cannot function without it.
also is it possible to restore the downloads back the way it was before this terrible lousy change. ..... it doesn't highlight the file to be able to find it when you right click open containing folder anymore. it doesn't go to download link anymore. and most dangerous of all that horrible DELETE DOWNLOAD HISTORY BUTTON IS AT TOP OF DOWNLOAD LIBRARY PAGE AND ON DROP DOWN RIGHT CLICK MENU. EASILY CAN MISTAKENLY DELETE ENTIRE LIST. Mozilla offers no way to retrieve and put things back. this is unacceptable. this must be corrected. this is against federation directive.

Firefox manages downloads in the Downloads folder in the Library (History > Show All History)
Downloads are treated as history items: clearing history removes included download items and vice verse. When downloads are in progress you see an animated download button on the Navigation Toolbar showing an estimate of the remaining time The Download button gets a green highlight once all download are finished to make you aware that new downloads are available. Pause and Resume can be found in the right-click context menu of an item. You can display the new Downloads Manager in a tab by opening the about:downloads page and you can consider to open this page in a separate window.
You can try to remove or reorder entries in the context menu with the Menu Editor extension.
nothing you told helps to restore: tools>downloads the deleted download list due to mozilla's bad ill planned upgrade changes to downloads..im familiar with the way the new downloads work....you didn't tell to regain all the lost deleted downloads library list..there is nothing in the margin or at top of page that will do anything to bring them back...
