Macbook frozen reboot won't work. Firefox won't quit . Opened iMac to search answers froze on opening what is going on????
My Macbook crashed when Firefox opened at start.I Did a restart same thing but even less responsive ended up with grey screen. have tried rebooting from DVD and using disk utility as was not sure of problem. MacBook is completely unresponsive now. Turned on old iMac to search for a Mac fix it shop and iMac crashes instantly upon opening as Firefox opens automatically. IMac had not been used for 5 months at least. Can't be a coincidence, nothing like this has happened before. I only other new thing is I changed providers the same day computer crashed... For first hour or so it was just slow. Thought just bugs needed ironing out. I had just bought an external HD to back up to. This is my work computer..my life is in there and I can't access it HELP!!! Please I am using a friends Ipad to post question on!

We're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing when you open it. Please do the following to give us crash IDs that will help us understand more about the crash.
- (OS X 10.6 or previous) Click the Finder icon in the dock. Your home folder will be selected. In the right side of the window, click the Library folder to open it. Then open the "Application Support" folder, the "Firefox" folder, the "Crash Reports" folder and finally the "submitted" folder.
(OS X 10.7 or above) Click the Finder icon in the dock. On the menu bar, click the Go menu, hold down the option or alt key and select Library. A window will open containing your Library folder. Then open the "Application Support" folder, the "Firefox" folder, the "Crash Reports" folder and finally the "submitted" folder. - Open the 5 most recent files with a text editor and copy the IDs.
- Paste each ID with bp- into the reply window on the forums.
