I have installed a full screen add on on my android tablet. It won't let me leave full screen mode by holding or any other way. How can I uninstall it when I can't get at the settings or the address bar?

This extension is a bit more tricky to uninstall. The user needs to load a page then long press on the page content that is not a link or image. In the long press there should be an option to exit fullscreen. Then you can uninstall as guigs2 suggests.

Is is possible to unintall an add on by going to the three dot menu or tap the setting menu and tap on Tools > Addons.

(Navigating to about:addons in the url bar also gets you here)

Tap on "Your Add-ons" and remove the add on from here.
