For the past several days, while all other websites work as fine as before on Firefox, Wikipedia works very badly: it responds very slowly and often gets stuck half-way before opening a page. I have tried several solutions but the problem recurs. On a different platform, Safari is connecting fine. Any suggestions?

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

Thanks for your assistance. I tried: 1. Uninstalling and reinstalling Flash Player.

2. Clearing the Cache.

Still, contact to Wikipedia is getting worse while all other websites work fine!

Any other suggestions?

Many thanks.
