Is there a pdf viewer built into Firefox for Android? The addon page (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/addon/pdfjs/?src=search) suggests that there is one by going to preferences, but I can't find any preferences button on the device. (about:preferences also goes nowhere.) I have checked about:config as well and there seems to be no pdf.js. My Firefox version is Aurora 46.0a2

That statement only applies to desktop Firefox. You can try the development version though it may cause the browser to crash or be killed by Android.
