How can I import the names of the email addressbook of my previous computer (windows mail) to this new computer with thunderbird?

I have transferred the emailaddresses onto a stick. I want to be able to select all of them and import them in one go, instead of one by one. Is there a simple method? I'm not into computers much.

If you open the Thunderbird address book there is a Tools > Import command. It allows you to import addresses in various file formats. So if you have saved them on your memory stick as a single file, it should import them all in one go.
