Why did 15 hours worth of accumulated emails all come in at once?
When I opened my email this morning, there were no new emails. I clicked on Get Mail, but nothing happened. Then, at about noon, all the accumulated incoming emails between 9:30 last night and noon today all came in at once. That has never happened before. 'Any ideas why it happened and how I can prevent it from happening again?
In addition, I forwarded a couple of earlier emails. My forwarded emails showed up in the Sent file, but the "forward" arrow did not appear next to the original email in my inbox. Were they actually sent, or not?

Hi timewarp1190.
This can be caused by some delays on the mailserver side. Can you please get in touch with your e-mail provider support to make sure, there was no problem with their servers? If you are not receiving any new e-mails, or receive them delayed, that might be the case.

If you do not see any new messages in Thunderbird, but know there should be some, can you see them via webmail (your mailbox provider web interface)?
