I ordered a kindle book from Amazon. It didn't show on my kindle and Amazon shows it delivered. I saw at the top of the page that it was blocked. I clicked on allow and remember. It still didn't come. I tried to order it again and was told it was already delivered. I tried to order another book that also didn't arrive, but Amazon said it was delivered. This time it did not show that it had been blocked. I had the same trouble about 6 months ago, but I don't know how it was fixed. I am very limited with computers.

Do you mean this message or was this about blocking a plugin?

  • "3-bar" menu button > Options/Preferences > Advanced > General
Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"

The setting in "Options/Preferences > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

You get a (possibly colored) Lego block icon on the left end of the location bar that indicates that the web page uses a plugin that Firefox is possibly blocking.
