Every tab or page I go to I have to go to View & click on Zoom Out twice to get rid of the scroll bar on the bottom. I have changed the font size down to 9 to no avail. When my friend set up Firefox I had noticed a screen where Font Size was set to Large. This may be my problem but I haven't been able to find such a page to try changing it to Normal.

first of all, your problem is not related to the font size but with the page being zoomed in. so the decrease in font size wont be helpful. To decrease the zooming of page
  • click on the 3horizontal lines on the upper right of the firefox window.
  • you should see a 100
%or more written in between a '-' and a '+' sign.
  • decrease this number to get rid of page zooming .
hope you find this helpful.

What is your screen resolution? Can you copy/paste the first block of information on the following page:

http://dev.jeffersonscher.com/resolution.html

For example, this is for a full HD screen with a Windows Text Size of 125% at the default zoom level (says 100% on the menu):

JavaScript screen.width x screen.height = 1536 x 864 window.devicePixelRatio = 1.25 device pixels per CSS pixel True screen.width x screen.height = 1920 x 1080

I saw that & it is set at 100%. I tried adjusting it up or down but it did not change. I don't recall if I was logged in at the time tho.
