Web casting to Amazon Fire Stick in the future?

more options

I was wondering if there is an app in the works for Amazon Fire Stick to facilitate web casting from My Galaxy Tab A. Is this something Mozilla would tackle or should Amazon or Samsung be doing it? I am thinking that such apps are available for Roku and Chromecast so why not the Fire Stick?

Hi

This is something that may be considered in the future, alongside many other features that could be included in Firefox for Android. Amazon are a little more protective of these software so it may be a little bit of a challenge.

Outside of Firefox for Android, Amazon may produced an app to allow this to happen, but the likelihood of this happening is something that Amazon is better placed to answer.

I assume there has to be some level of cooperation between both entities since a plugin on the Firefox side would need to pair with an app on the Fire Stick.
